Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Hi I am researching for an Robert Cody whome lived in Dublin or Dundrum Ireland in and around 1859 he would have been about 20-30 His Son Thomas Cody at 23 married a Roseanna Lynch on the 7of August 1882 in the Roman Catholic Church Chapel of The Holy Cross Dundrum. Rosanna Lunch was the Daughter of Thomas Lynch and Jane Lynch. Thomas and his Bride then migrated to Australia and settled in North Queensland. Robert may have lived in Spencer St Dublin

I am looking for my grandfathers other family. When we were little he was referred to as Mr. cody.We were told as children that he didn't want us to know about him & his other family.
His name was Robert Charles Cody died 1980 in la area had a brother named Lester. My little sister & I met our Grandma Hale when we were very young probaly 1961-1965. I remember she lived in a house with a porch. Please if anyone knows anything about my Grandfather please contact me at grif47(a)mns.com. mr. cody had 4 children with my grandmother, Greeta Charlene , Jack,Robert, & Effie. Aunt Effie is the only one left alive.

Yes that was my Grandfather. He was married to my Garndma in Ohio years ago. My father is Edward Everschor and my uncles name is Charles. They took his name. He left my grandmother when my dad was very young. I am looking forward to meeting you. I think we are cousins.

My father was born October 26, Elixa Oklahoma, his parents were Leonard Edker Cody, born in 1902, Ardmore Ok. and Leth Ann Striplin born Dec. 6. 1906...any more info would be nice.

Immigrated approx 1854, age 17. Married Mary Ann Byrne (1842-1913) in St James Catholic Church in NYC 1860. They had 7 children I am aware of: Andrew b:1868 (m: O'Rourke), James Andrew (b: 1862), John Henry (1863-1864), Catherine Elizabeth (always went by Liz) (1864-1955) m: Ober, James (1867-1884), Henry (1872-1896), Mae Laura (1875-1901, yes I know the years don't fit) m: Devoy.
1870 census places them in Ward 6, Brooklyn. His death cert places him at 417 Baltic St., Brooklyn. They are buried in Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Brooklyn.

I'am at a dead end,with no answers.in our family photo album from the late 1800's to early 1900's there is a very nice picture of Buffalo Bill.this is where it gets confussing....my relatives last name is Counter...Felix Counter born in canada 1831 and Oliver Counter born in canada in 1835.the Counter is a French Canadian name change,in direct translation Cote would be Counter.Felix married Sophia goodchild(Bonnenfant)=direct translation and his brother Oliver married agneta thibault (thebaut)= direct translation.they all moved to Blue Earth MN in 1874 from Wis. and a few years later Felix went back to Grandrapids Wis. and oliver stayed in MN.any help would be great.thanksmary
