Hi Debi,
This is Maureen Reeve and I would love to have a picture of the girl who you know from your grandmother to be Alice Coddington. Mary Ida Sommers married Dubois Coddington on 30 May 1863 in Allergerville, Ulter Co. New York and the children from this marriage were Joseph, Clarence, Alice, Frank, Arthur, Mary Grace, John, and Oscar, Coddington
Dubois Coddington was born in 1830 in Rochester (Accord), Ulster Co., New York and died on 16 April 1902 in St Josen (Accord), Ulster Co., New York and was buried in Benton-Bar Cmty, Kyserike, Ulster, Co., New York.
Mary Ida Summers was born in 1844 in St Josen (Accord), Ulster Co., New York, and died on 27 March 1945 in Newburgh, Orange Co., New York and was bured in Benton-Bar Cmty, Kyserike, Ulster Co., New York.
Mary married Dubois Coddington, son of Jacobus an Wagenen Coddington and Sarah Schoonmaker, on 30 May 1863 in Alligerville, Ulster Co., New York.
The top of the section I got this from it states
Sixth Generation (3rd Great Grandparents)
If you would like copies of what I have I would be happy to scan them in and send them to you if they could help in anyway. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Maureen Reeve

Hi Lori,
My name is Maureen Reeve and I am a descendant of that part of the family and Tamar Schoonmaker is listed in the pages that I have received and would like to know more about that part of the family. If you could would you please send me any information that may help me also.
Merlyn as helped me some on my search and so has a Johnathan Coddington he is my nineth cousin from what he tells me. If there is any information on the Native American that I am told is in me I would really appreciate knowing about it. The reason is both my boys and I look like native american descendants and would like to know which tribe we come from. Look forward to hearing from you with any help you can give.
Sincerely
Maureen Reeve

you are welcome for the information I hope it is helpful for you. If you should get anymore please feel free to forward it to me also. I also have heard that we have Native American Blood in us but have not been able to locate that part of the history. My sister told me that the Tribe begins with an O and there were only 3 that I know of the Ojibowa, Onieda and the Onadaga which were all part of the Iroquios Nation up there in New York State. Good luck with your search to find whoever or whatever you would like to know about your family.
Sincerely,
Maureen Reeve
I am looking for any connections to Elmer E. Coddington, who resided in
Brookfield, OH around 1919. His wife's name was Margaret, she died 11
Apr 1918 in Cleveland, OH. He had at least two children:
1. Edward Coddington, who resided at 1351 East 112, Cleveland, OH around
1919.
2. Henry Coddington, b. 12 Apr 1886 Youngtown OH, d. 12 Jun 1918
Cleveland OH
Henry Coddington married Anna Stolph on 13 Jul 1908 in Cleveland OH and
they had three girls born between 1909 and 1914.
I am researching William Arthur Coddington and his ancestors, but know
very little about him. He was born about 1901 in Cincinnati, OH to John
Coddington and Pearl Boyte. He moved to the Chicago area for a period in
the early 1930s. Does anyone know of this family?
Thank you,
Gordon
