Joseph Cockshutt was born in 1875 and educated at Ampleforth. He qualified as a solicitor in 1900, and in 1901 married Florence Bond. They had 6 children, Philip (1904), Molly (1905?), Hermon (1907), Joan (1910?), Denis (1913) and Dick (1915). All are now deceased. Florence died in 1935. Louise was Joseph's housekeeper, and there was one child of the marriage, Nick, who now lives in Australia. Joseph died in 1952. Can I ask why you want to know? Joseph was my grandfather. I have a family tree which can flesh this out a bit - what I put here is from memory.
