Hi, Things are still going good with me. I have had 10 out of 15 radiation treatments on my brain so far, and I have had very few side effects. The ones that I have had have been very minor. We met with the Oncologist today, and we set up the start dates for Chemo, Dec 1 -2 & 3. It will take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours for the drugs to be fed in and they have 13 reclining chairs in back where you sit. I will be given Carboplatin & Etoposide (VP-16), I have a three week break and then start the second round on Dec 22 - 23 & 24. I have gotten all the do's and don'ts so I am hoping that I will have minimal side effects.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Thank you again for all the good thoughts, wishes & prayers that have been sent my way. I appreciate them all.
Love,
Barb
