I found Jack Olson's son-in-law and I just talked with him and he said Jack
had developed dementia and had some other health problems. He is now living
in an assisted living environment and was unable to even write his own name.
I'm so sorry to hear that! There is not many genealogists and I hate to
lose even one. Jack was a good one.
Larry R. Cockerell
I really appreciate all of the replies re Jack Olson's email address. I
have hit a brick wall. Jack in an email back in 2005 had told me about
losing his wife three years ago. I went to the Salt Lake City Tribune and
looked up her obit. From the guest book I got a son-in-law's name Gary
Latimer. I did a reverse lookup on it and call a number in San Diego but the
number was no longer in service. The other daughter's husband I can't find
in a reverse lookup. Of course I looked in the obits for Jack's name but
there is nothing there. I wish I had the name of some of the grand
children. Jack mentioned to me at one time he had a grandson coming over to
look at his computer.
Again thanks for all of the replies. If you think of anything else please
let me know.

I ran a reverse lookup for Jack OLSON (not Olsen) and the address nor the
phone number that I had for him came up. Jack was listed at Salt Lake
City, UT, Wilson address in Ancestry.com's directories as Jack A. Olson.
There is a Ryan Olsen living on Wilson in Salt Lake but the address is not
the one given for Jack and the last name is spelled differently.
I checked the SS Death Index last night and found nothing on a Jack A.
Olson.

Dear Cockrill Cousins,
I hope that this helps. Here is the link to Cockrill Families of Northern
Virginia. Jack Olsen and Kay Cockrill Kazmir wrote Chapter 23
We have 106 pages of information in this Chapter. I believe that this is
95% of the information that Jack had on the Jacob Cockrell.

I would like to share some Texas Cockrell info with him and am interested in his email address, too. I tried the AOL address a few months ago and the msg. was returned to me.
