Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

My family includes George Cocking, 1794 -1964, born in Grove, Notts,lived in Crowle, Lincs. Son of William Cocking and Ann Shaw. He is brother of my gg-grandmother, Elizabeth Cocking. Thompson He and his son, William Farrow Cocking were farmers in Crowle; family gave a stained glass window in St. Oswald's Church, are buried there. Other children of George and wife Ann are Sarah Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Thomas Woodthorpe, Betsey, Mary, Martha Ann

I am tracing back my mothers family in lincolnshire and so far have got back to George Cocking b 1806 and wife Elzabeth 1806.Children George 1832,Hannah 1828,James 1834,John 1840,William 1829.If this all looks familar then we are distantly related.Should you wish to know where we are now email me.I would love to know how far back George goes.We are from Williams (son) side of the family.Hope to hear something soon.Thanks
