I am stuck.
I have followed the above through the 1891/1901/1911 census wher i found her in service aged 21 in Shipley North Yorkshire.
She has a child Albert Edward Lee in 1915 in Richmond North Yorks. She then Married Thomas Minnican in 1917 in Richmond ( so i assume her 1st husband died WW1 - again not 100% )
She with Thomas Minnican has 7 childen with him between 1917 & 1931 in Richmond North Yorks - Maiden name on birth record as Cockerill.
I have search for the marriage to Mr Lee because i am looking for another child i have been told they have before Albert E Lee 1915. This child is Frederick b c1906 i cannot find this child.
I also can only find a marriage in 1905 in Knaresborough Yorkshire. as below
Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marriages Sep 1905 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Clunas John William Knaresbro' 9a 171
Cockerill Ellen Knaresbro' 9a 171
DAVISON Edith Knaresbro' 9a 171
Lee Slater Knaresbro' 9a 171
I have checked the 1911 census which shows that Edith Davidson married Slater Lee and Ellen Cockerill married John William Clunas ( this record also shows this Ellen Cockerill is born Thornton Le Dale which is 53 miles away from Richmond which is too far to be a slip of the tounge ).
So which mr lee did she marry????
HELPPPPPP
Anthony
