Hi I have just gotten into this family tree searching the last year or so. My mother started it a ling time ago. Most of my Cockerill family line are from around the area of Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. There are a few scattered here & there but most so far seem to be in the Wolverhapton area. If anyone has any information or are related please get in touch with me & maybe we could exchange info.
Thanks Kerry Reppnack

Hi Margarita I came across you're & Pam's messages & I just replyed to her. I thought I would reply to you as well as I have the book you are talking about & sent Pam a scanned rooster crest & a scanned pic of the cover of the book. I am wondering if you now a Peter Cockerill in England from what I now he is related to the same William Cockerill in the book as you are. He also has sent me snail mail a print out of his family tree line, with a John Cockerill & Jane Sisick. If you don't have his email let me now & I will pass it on to you. I wish I was connected but as far as Peter can tell we are not, well will keep searching maybe on day we will all connect one way or another.

Hi Pam I have just stared in this family history stuff, the last year or so. I have the book your & Margarita are talking about. I have scanned the Rooster crest that is on the back of the book & I scanned the cover of the book. I got it from a Peter Cockerill in England & that is his family line from Haslingden. As far as he can figure out we are not in the same line I'm not related to that William Cockerill. He has lots of info on all Cockerills not just his line, but not alot of mine boohoo LOL. I can't believe how many Cockerills there are & that I'm not related (god). My line are mostly from Wolverhampton, Staffordshire area. Well if I can help please let me know.
