My name is John Elliot Cockerill, born 1945 in Warblington, England. Son of Jack & Marie Cockerill (nee Brown).
I am tracing my family tree and am able to go back to Henry Cockerill of Wappenham, Northamptonshire, England. He died in 1796. He had four children, Henry, Sarah, Robert & Phillis. If any one thinks that they are relatives, no matter how distant, please get in touch.

Excerpts from the life story of Kathryn Ann Cockerill as written before she passed away June 3, 1991 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada:
"I was born in Aston, Birmingham Eng in a family of 9, the youngest Dorothy died in infancy. My mother passed away about a year later with what was called in those days galloping consumption, at the age of 36 leaving 8 children behind, seven girls and a boy, my brother being two years older than I..."
The life story is a wonderful story of her life. The story was not particularily specific when it came to dates and names though.
I do have information on the descendants of Kathryn Ann Cockerill but would be interested in finding out more of the ancestors of Kathryn Ann Cockerill.
Thanks,
Darryl
