This group has been very quiet, so I thought I would send a query re my
London family.

Henry Mylam COCKERILL, born 6 March 1806
Ann Martha C, was known to be alive in 1827, whether single or married
is not known.
William James C, was a widower in 1853, when he married Ellen GOWER. He
was then Secretary to the Cancer Hospital (Free), a position he held
until his death in 1868. They had 5 children -
Emma Maria COCKERILL, born in 1854
Ellen Mary Eugene COCKERILL, born in 1855
Flora Theresa COCKERILL, born in 1858
William Augustus Marsden COCKERILL, born in 1858
Louisa Edith COCKERILL, born in 1863
Ellen died in 1872. Of these children, nothing is known of the girls.
William Augustus Marsden C. was educated at Kings College, London, then
at Moore College in Sydney Australia - 1887. graduated BA at University
of Tasmania, Australia in 1900. Vicar Church of England. Moved to New
Zealand in 1904, and died 1913
Henry Mylam C, convicted of theft in 1823 and transported to Tasmania.
There married Eliza VINCENT, and they had 15 children, 8 of whom came to
New Zealand after Eliza's death in 1864.
I am descended from Henry Mylam's family, and have good records of his
descendents, and also record of William Augustus Marsden's family in NZ,
but would love to learn more of the females from above who remained in
England.
Does anyone find anything familiar in the above people/
Regards all,
Garth Cockerill,
