Hi List,
Not much activity of the list in February. ?
I put some early (Virginia) Cockerham items on the list in January, hoping
to spur some activity. No one else followed thru with any similar items.
The early Cockerham from Isle of Wight and then Surry dispersed over
Virginia after the 1730s, to many other counties, such as King William,
Caroline, and eventually some of them were found in Lunenburg in the mid
1750s. Wouldn't it be nice if a concerted effort by all the researchers to help sort them
out by contributing items to the list . It would be too huge
a job for just a few individuals to track them over the state.
