Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Gang,
We have had a large number of new members join the list. It may be time
to do a roll call of who we are researching. As before it can be just a
short memo about your current research projects.
I am researching the Cockriel and it's variant spelling of Grayson and
it's adjacent counties in Kentucky. My family groups may be found in
Spencer and Perry counties in Indiana. You may also find a branch in
Platt County, Mo. If you have any connections with these family groups
I am most interested in hearing from you.

Tom,
Today has special meaning for me as well. On November 10th, 1966 I was
shipped to Vietnam to start my 13 month tour. Dec. 3, 1967 I returned
to the "world" as a 20 year old. Two days later I turned 21.
We should all take a few minutes on this day to remember those that
fought in all the wars. The children of the United States have been
called on many times to help maintain our freedoms that we take so
lightly.
Today I have a son that is stationed on the Eisenhower off the coast of
Iran. He was scheduled to be home by christmas. Let's take a little
time to remember those that served and are currently serving.
Tom, Thanks for rmembering.

Gang,
I have been out of the loop for a few days. Had a cold (flu) and was
getting a new service at the same time. I now have an additional
address of cockerel(a)bullitt.net. The additional service gives me the
capability of getting speeds up to 56K. Now that is quick. I had a
little trouble in the beginning but I think I have the big problems
solved. Hope to be responding to you very soon.
You will still be able to get me at this address.
Tom
