If you are going to list your ancestors.........please add the dates for births, marriages and death.......
Just a suggestion. Mine are all in the 17th and 18th centuries. Some of you are looking for people that are probably in the 19th and 20th centuries. With out date I spend a lot of time looking and we are hundreds of years apart...............Thanks George in Canyon Lake, Texas

Wish that I could help Rebecca but I haven't spend much time on the Cockes. Did you try "Cocke's and Cousins" Mine dated back to the 1600's and 1700's.

My family is William Bedford Cocke (1817-1856) m. Teressa Mayberry. He moved
to Texas, but whether before or after their marriage, I don't know. Their
daughter, Willie Elam Cocke (1857-1912), m. Isaac Lafayette Gamewell, my
g-grandfather. Anyone have information about any of these folks?
