Hi Diane
I was wondering the same thing. I started a Coburns of Pa on Facebook and would live to mesh my line in with that of the Cockburns in England and Scotland. I descend from Thomas Cockburn who came to Pennsylvania through William Penn in 1683. Obviously, Thomas was born in Berwickshire (I have the actual town) in roughly 1640's but do not know his father. He married Elizabeth Cockfield. The page I have on Facebook is open to public...just Google "Coburns of Pa."
Thank you, Diane!
Karen Coburn
