Interested in any information on William COCKBURN, of the Parish of Yetholm, and Elizabeth FAIRBAIRN, from the parish of Morebattle, who were married in Yetholm on April 18 1851.
I have been unable to find any further records of them in either later census records or death records.
I am trying to establish if this Elizabeth was the daughter of Andrew FAIRBAIRN and Margaret HUNTER. Their daughter Elizabeth was recorded on the 1841 Census as Mantua maker and on 1851 census at Morebattle as Dress maker. She is the only Elizabeth FAIRBAIRN recorded at Morebattle in the 1851 censustaken 19 days before the marriage
