Jayne,
I believe your great grandfather is German Cockburn, the son of Columbus Cockburn. I also believe German's first wife was named Lily Kendrick. Their children were Richard, Jim, Grover, Ida, Nola and Arizona (Zona). I was told that your great grand mother died after contracting measles during pregnancy. The baby was also lost. German later married Mary Pellom who had two sons, Chester and Millard. After her marriage to German they took the Cockburn name. German then fathered three more children, Roy, Tommy and Berniece.
