Hoping someone can help wiht my search!
We had two siblings arrive in Pembrokeshire in 19th century.
They were James COCKS - born 1803 in Bodmin, and his sister Anna COCKS, also supposedly born in Bodmin (according to all the census records.
James never married but went on to become Mayor of Pembroke - he had been a seaman and known as Capt Cocks. His sister went on to marry a Glanville who has many descednats in Pembrokeshire.
We have researched a lot of the Glanville side but have drawn a blank with these two Cocks.
I have a very distant connection to Glanvilles but am interested in our village history and all the family connctions.
One descendant was called James Cox Glanville - the spelling ahving changed.
