Hi
I am looking for information on John Cockbill born abt 1740 and Arabella Drury abt 1748. Married 1790 Aston Sudbedge. I have five children and can follow the line down from John & Joseph.
I would like to try and find John parents and possible brothers & sisters.
Thanks

Hello Glynis,
I'm really sorry not to have replied before. I don't think this is the same family. My Cock family farmed near Mevagissey. My great grandmother was the eldest of several children who grew up at Polsue Farm. One of her brothers, Martyn, went to America.
I have not been working on my family tree for a couple of years because I have been doing my Masters degree. That's almost complete and I can't wait to get back to my family research.
If I have already corresponded with you on this subject, please bear with me. It is so long since I looked at this that I feel somewhat out of touch.
After Christmas I will be able to get out the database and let you have more information if that would be helpful. Let me know.
Best wishes,
Helen
