Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I have information on James Cock, son of Joseph Cock b. 1742 in Matincock-Killingworth, Long Island, NY d. abt. 1790 Crum Elbow, Duchess County, NY and Rhoda Frost b. unknown Mill River Neck, Long Island, NY, d. abt 1832 in Wheatland, Monroe County, NY. James was the brother of my gggrandfather, Jordan Cock. Jordan changed his name to Cox in about 1812. I may have more information on this family, I will check my boojk, The Cock Cocks Cox Family first published in 1912. Let me know what you are looking for exactly.
