Hello.
I am researching a woman named Eliza Cock, daughter of John Cock, who married Joseph Hocking. She was married and died in Mevagissey.
Eliza Cock & Joseph Hocking, married 22 Jan 1846 in Mevagissey. The marriage certificate gives her father's name & occupation as John, farmer. From census records, she was born in about 1816. She died 10 Jan 1889 in Mevagissey, at the age of 71 [doesn't agree with census records for her age]. Joseph had died on 26 Feb 1886.
Joseph Hocking and Eliza had 3 children:
1) Eliza Ross, married John Furse
2) Joseph, married Maria Bunny
3) Grace Ann, married Joseph Over
Does Eliza tie in with research you have already done? I'd love to hear from you, and am willing to exchange information. Thanks!
