Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi Cousins,
I went to my local FHC today to look up the GRO (St Caths) index entry for
the death of my GGGrandfather. I've been told recently that he was struck by
lightning and died in 1920 and I have a great interest in verifying this, so
need the certificate.
Unfortunately there had been some pilfering at the FHC last year and all the
Deaths Fiche for 1918-1920 were missing. I'm hoping that some kind soul can
do the look up for me at their FHC.
The look-up details are
Year of Death: 1918-1920, with 1920 most favoured ( I checked 1921-1922).
Name: John COCK
Age at Death: About 90
District: Burnley (Lancashire)
Volume 8e
If anyone has it in their heart to do me this favour I'll be very, very
grateful.
Kind regards
Peter Cox
