Hi!
I would be grateful for any information you have regarding the ancestry of Robert George Cochrane and Florence Gertrud Buysman, and more information about their children. I find it difficult to do research in UK, since I am living in Sweden.
Kind regards,
Pia Lindström

I'm trying to trace my paternal Grandmothers fathers family and her brother.
Her brother is William Cochrane, he was born in 1917 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. It is believed he emigrated to Australia in 1950 prior to the birth of my Father.
His Father was Charles Alfred George Cochrane b1892 Johnstone, Renfrewshire, Scotland - d1953 and his Mother was Margaret Addison b1898 Paisley, Renfrewshire, scotland - d1925 I think in New York. He was raised by his Grandmother Margaret Addison nee Boyle who d1948.
Charles's father was William b1859 Paisley, Renfrewshire, scotland - d1939. His Mother was Elizabeth George b1855 d1925.
Williams father John Cochrane b1827 in Neilston - d1877
Mother Agnes Johnston b1822
Johns Father William b1780 - d1851
Mother Janet Scott b1788 - d1863
Hope to hear from someone soon!

Hello. Have not done too much. I had another addition to our family so that is taking up a bit of time.
Have you had any luck? I need to go over my notes and see where i left off with my Cochrane family. I have had better luck with my Yuill branch that my Janet Cochrane married into.
I will look about what i have and get back to you.
Great to hear from you!
Kristin

Hi
Yes you are right he is related to me. Well done for finding me. There are quite a few of us trying to get in contact with whoever is interested.
I am descended from one of the other 15 children Robert George who married Florence Gertrude Buysman. Their son Robert Bernard Cochrane was my dad. He died in 1967.
Wow.
I would like to help in any way I can.
Jane

Hi!
I am doing research for a friend, and I think he is related to you. His G-G-Grandmother was Margaret Alice Cochrane, daughter to Richard George Cochrane. Margaret married Erik Leonard Roslin July 20, 1912, in London. Erik Roslin was born 1883 in Sweden. The couple lived in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Feb 1913-Dec 1915, where their son Alexander Karl Erik Hugo Roslin was born July 1, 1913. In 1922 they lived in London. Erik died in 1932, and in his probate the names Cecil Valentine Cochrane and Mabel Friman (wife of Karl Emil Friman) are mentioned.
Does these persons belong to your family? Any information appreciated!
Kind regards,
Pia Lindström
