Pelham, Hampshire, MA d. 18 May 1777. Thankful (Rice) Cochran b. 26 Nov
1758 d. ca 1856 according to some records. She applied for Robert's Rev.
War Pension. This is the Robert Cochran who was one of the Green Mountain
Boys along with Ethan Allen.

His Rev. War file is intact at Heritage Quest and Ancestry.com Some list his
parents as Thomas Cochran and Margaret (possibly Caldwell). Thomas is son
of Dea. John Cochran and Lily Kilgore.
2. Maj. Robert Cochran b. d. 30 July 1812 in Ft. Edward, NY He married
Mary Millar b. 1743 d. 23 Jan 1805.

there, married John Doty. John Doty married 2nd Mary Long. He died in
Chicago, IL between 1838-1840. (Doty family records).
7. Robert Cochran b. 20 May 1774 d. 29 Sep 1775.
This Robert Cochran's records were supposedly destroyed in New York in 1800
along with many Rev. War Records of others from New York.
