Looking for information on David Cochrane born 1819 in Edinburgh, Scotland and married Jane Allen who was born 1821. They lived in Dover, England in 1846. They had 11 children. At some point they lived in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and Quebec, Canada (maybe he was a seaman) and three of their children were born in Canada between 1850 and 1852. In 1853 they were back in England.
My husband is a descendant.

I have an original postcard photograph of “Frank Cochrane, brother of Blanch Martin”, which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in about 1895-1900, in Girard (Eric Co.) PA, and Frank looks to be about age 20.
I searched census records to find Frank, but only found only Blanche. She is listed in Family Search as Blanche Mae Cochrane, b. 14 Aug 1884, and married to a Leroy Martin. That Blanche Cochrane is listed in the 1900 census for Girard (Erie Co.) as daughter of “hard to read-Blaslen?” Cochrane, b. Mar 1849, and his wife Emma J., b.Sep 1851.
Email me at margerice(a)prodigy.net if you are related to the Cochrane family of Erie Co., PA.
