Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

He came to the U.S. in May of 1911 with his mother Martha, bro's Matthew, and John.. His father was John Beattie Cochrane. Harry also had 3 sisters Helen, Ida, and Aggie. Harry passed away between 1966 - 1967 in Washington State... HE had married and had 2 sons... I am looking for any information on him... I am checking on where he may have lived in WA.. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Looking for any information on Nancy COCHRANE, b. abt 1807 possibly in OH,
(perhaps VA or PA). Married to John Henry DAVIS. Dies 1880-1890 in
Knightstown, IN. children Abraham, Thomas, John Henry, Joseph, Albert T.
and Mary Davis, most born in Belmont Co., OH.

Just read your posting. My G-G-G-G Grandfather was a Robert Cochrane, born 10-25-1725 in Ireland. He came to NC ca 1775 with sons William, John, and Robert. He also had daughters Jennet, Sarah White, and Martha. If this helps, let me know. I have additional info.

Murderer. Prisoner in Aberdeen Tolbooth. Banished to the Plantations for life at Aberdeen May 1726. Transported from Glasgow on the "Concord of Glasgow", master James Butchart. Landed at Charles County, Maryland 24 May 1728. Sold there by David Cochrane, merchant in Maryland.
