I am researching a Cochrane line that I believe started with the
immigration of Ulster Scots to Boston in 1718. Part of this group
went to Bridgewater, Massachusetts. There, John Cochrane married
Margaret Gilmore in 1733. John and his wife later moved to
Murrayfield, Massachusetts, where he acquired 100 acres of land. In
1804, he migrated to Ohio, having purchased land in the Western
Reserve.
I would appreciate any information regarding this Cochrane line, or
guidance as to sources where I may find additional data.
Thank you.
