Hi Barbara,
Wow, that's so exciting. I would love to find out more about my family and get in contact with them if possible.
I had a look at my Grandad's (Sidney) birth certiicate and it is Mary Frances Murch, I just couldn't read the writing properly.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards Renay

I am trying to trace any descendants of the family of my grandmother's sister, Margaret COCHRANE, who married, in Manchester, England, a Greek man, named Demitrius Steveris, according to the 1881 Census.
I have found them in 1891, in Salford, near Manchester.
By 1901, Margaret or Maggie, I presume was dead, as she does not appear on the Census.
By 1901 Demetrius was using the christian name of Nicholas and was a naturalised British subject The family had changed the surname to STEPHENSON .
Children's names were Mary, b abt 1873, Catherine, b 1876, Nicholas, b 1877, George, b 1886, Veronica, b 1891 and Frances, b 1893. The only other information I have is from the 1913 Directory for Manchester, where the son, Nicholas was a Hairdresser, in Harpurhey, Manchester. His father was not mentioned, possibly died.
