Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Ron Cochrane, 55, a resident of Tijeras, NM, went home to be with his Lord, on Saturday November 1, 2003. He was born March 23, 1948 in Modesto, CA, to George E. and Lucille (Hodgin) Cochrane. The Lord and music was Ron's life, sharing both was his calling. Helping friends, family, and strangers, Ron was always there, whatever the need. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose" Romans 9:28. Ron is survived by one son, Donnie B. Cochrane, of Gallup, NM; two sisters, Gloria J. and husband, Jack Wilhoit of Brandon, MS, and Julie and husband, Terry Decker of Tijeras, NM; two brothers, Jim and wife, Doris Cochrane of Stock Bridge, GA, and Gary and wife, Tina Cochrane of Dallas, TX. Ron was preceded in death by his Parents. Funeral services will be held Friday November 7, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at the Church on the Rock, (5300 2nd Street NW), with!
pastor Jack Webb officiating. Burial will follow at the Round Top Cemetery near Mountainair, NM. Pallbearers will be Jack Wilhoit, Terry Decker, Gary Cochrane, Donnie Cochrane, Jim Cochrane, and Steve Winters. I am looking for parents or other decendents of John Rueben Cochrane. He was born about 1820 in KY and he died August 1867 in Jefferson City, Jefferson Co., LA. He married Catherine Shannon(b.abt 1830 NY, sister of Ann) about 1848 and they had 9 children:
