I am desperate to contact the family of my relative Jean Cochrane (nee Hall). Her last known address (1990) was West Harbour Road, Charlestown, Fife. We are both grandchildren of Jane Dreghorn Douglas who married Samuel Welsh & Robert Mathews. Jean's mother was Elizabeth Welsh who was my father's 1/2 sister. Elizabeth Welsh was married to Robert Hall, a commercial traveller. Elizabeth (Welsh)Hall died in 1990 in Lochwinnoch. I know that Jean Cochrane had a sister, possibly a twin. They were in regular contact with our grandmother and Aunt May in New Zealand. If anybody knows of this woman, or any connection, could you please, please contact me. I have lots of information and questions for her or her descendants. I have been looking for this connection for years and have only just received the above old Fife address for her. Thank you, Jeanne (Mathews)Bell.
Hi there:
We are Cochrane's from Montreal. My father was Edward Grant, as was his
father. We have an uncle Bud, I could get his actual name from my brother if
you wish. Would love to hear your history and see if it matches up somewhere.
Louise Cochrane (now Creager in Colorado)
