Sue,
Problem is, my Cochrans research is about 75 years before yours. For
instance on a land sale of proberty belonging to my ggggrandfather is ca
1865, there was an Ambros Martin as a signer. This was John G. Cochran's
estate being settled by his family. Sons, William and Andrew Jackson,
bought land from the other heirs.

Surname: Cochrane, Bohl
-------------------------
My 3rd. G. Grandfather, George Cochrane married Hannah Bohl in Montreal
in 1840. They later lived in Niagara as he served in the Royal Canadian
Rifles. Most of their children were born here but I need more documentation.
Also need more information on the Bohl family.
Sue,
Your names; William, Ambrose, and Martin Cochran, are names I find familiar
from my Independence/Lawrence Co, AR area. However, you are saying your
research on these names are in the 1900s?
Jan Gilliam Reynolds
Please can anyone tell me about the following:
William M COCHRANE who married Olive Margaret Annie WEST, Portsmouth 1920
their son Ambrose W COCHRANE born Suffolk 1921 who seems to have returned to the Portsmouth area, married a Syliva STAPLEY in 1944 and had two children, Martin J and Ian M COCHRANE in the Portsmouth area in 1945 and 1949 respectively.
Many thanks for any assistance.

Hello,
I am looking for anyone that would have any relation by the name of Cochrane from Canada. My great-grandfather was born in New Brunswick . He married a Hester Perry from Newfoundland and they has 13 children the youngest being my grandmother. If anyone knows any Cochran's from Canada please contact me. Thank you.
Ruth West
I have seen a lot of queries, but none on the Cochran's of Eastern -
North Eastern Maine and New Brunswick Early 1800's. If there are
others researching in that area please contact me.
