Mr. Cochran,
I am doing research on the Cochran family and have been told that my gggggrandfather was William Cochran born circa 1802 in North Carolina. It has been said that he was or his father was found on a door step and believed to be of Native American decent. I am not sure this information is correct of just family lore, but I am looking for information on a William Cochran born circa 1802 and who married Rachel Jackson.
Any information you may have would be fantastic.

Hi -
I am looking for any information for Archie C Cochran. He was my Grandfather. He died in the late 1970's. He was married to Shirley F. Spoon. I know he was in his mid 40's when he died. This is all I know.
Thanks
George Cochran

What type information are you looking for, my grandfather was Andrew Cochran who came to Ross County Ohio from Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. He had a son by the name of Alexander who is a brother to Margaret who married Chaney Ricketts. My mother and I have been trying for the last 35 years of locating the maiden name of Andrews 2nd wife Nancy. We have located Alexander's grave site and stone. Would like to hear back from you.
