Hello,
I have been searching for years without much progress for any information on my grandfather's half-sister Minnie Ethel Cochran. I only know of her existence because she was mentioned in her parents' divorce file. Here is what I know - her father was Samuel Fox Cochran born 1883 in Bucks County, PA and her mother was Mildred Fisher born 1893 in Trenton, Mercer, NJ. Samuel and Mildred married in Lambertville, NJ on 16 Mar 1910. According to the divorce file, Mildred deserted Samuel in June 1914 when they were living in Bucks County, PA. She took their daughter to Frenchtown, NJ and never came back. Samuel was granted a divorce from Mildred on 8 Jul 1918. Mildred never appeared to contest the divorce and was only spotted once by Samuel in Frenchtown with the child after the desertion. By my calculations, Minnie was probably born in the fall of 1911 in either Lambertville, NJ or Bucks County, PA. I have searched and searched census records and many other records and hav!
e not found any other trace of Mildred or Minnie after 1914. Does anyone possibly have information on the pair?
Thank you!
