Please see the attached picture of Silas and Nancy Cochran. The caption of the picture says it is from 1833. Yet, I did not think that photography was this well developed in 1833.
Does anyone have confirmation of this photograph as being from 1833? The picture was apparently published somewhere. Does anyone know where and when?
Thank you

I am descended from Thomas Vaughn, then his daughter Nancy m James Cochran, their daughter Isobelle m. John Lusk, their daughter Nancy m. Archibald Thompson. I am applying for membership in the DAR. The family has been proved to DAR down to James Cochran. I need to find documents that support that Isabelle was the daughter of James Cochran, and also to support her marriage to John Lusk. Their daughter Nancy married Archibald Thompson. Would appreciate any info any of you could provide. I have quite a bit of documentation for the generations up to Isabelle. I know John and Isabelle are buried in Prairie Cem, and I have their census records. thanks, Duella Thompson Farmer
