Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Please will someone respond with information about all Irish COCHRAN(E)'S
I am looking for the name of the MOTHER of
Hugh Hall Cochran(e) born 1805 died 1879 who came from Northern Ireland. either Belfast or Lurgan where he lived laterly. Also was EDWARD COCHRAN(E)from Belfast his father ? who was also a watchmaker.
I have been trying for about 20 years to find an answer to this but still can't find it,so please help.

Edgar Cochran (middle initial W or M) born about 1910, son of Edward and Sarah Cochran, appears in 1920 Census in Highland Co., OH, graduated from New Vienna High School in 1929. Today I saw his high school diploma for sale at Columbus Architectural Salvage Co., telephone (614) 299-6627.

If you think he was born in MD then contact the MD Office of Vital Statistics and see if they have a marriage license on file for his mother. If she is deceased contact the State where she died and get a death certificate. Either document will give her husbands name and you won't need to know the city to get these types of records. Because of the possibility of I.D. theft, info posted on-line is only done on people over 100 years old. You can get the contact info for the Office of Vital Statistics on-line, just do a Google search.
