Cochran researchers,
In my search for my other lines of Russell, Casey, Pulaski Co'.s of KY, I have aquired a lot of Cochran data. I have birth, marriage and death notices of many Cochrans of that area.
Maybe I can help someone working on the Cochran line and they can help fill in a lot of my blanks. Some of the line from that area of KY are: Boling, Chapman, Compton, Eastham, Ellison, Jacobs, James, Luttrell, Noaks, Phelps, Richards, Roy, Thomas and Wilson. Thank you. Tim

I am looking for information about the Cochran family that lived in Aiken County South Carolina. I am a descendant of Ben Maston and Susie Annie Cochran. Ben was born in 1878. The family profession was iron moulding...producing jockey hitch posts and other iron castings until the 1960s. Ben's parent's names are listed as Gus Cochran and Mahaley Barton on his death certificate dated April 1941. I have not been able to find either. The oral family history remembers a time when the family lived in Louisiana, but I can find no evidence. They also lived in the Monroe Georgia area.
Thank You,
Bill

I read alot of your posts.I have been looking for a William S Cochran who died in 1929. I am not sure when he was born but I know that he was at one time married to my great-great grandmother, Rachel E. Fairbanks. They had atleast one child who is my great grandfather. They all lived in Pa atleast until William left my Rachel. No one is sure where he went and if he married someone else after Rachel. If you have any information, I would greatly appreciate it alot. We were told that there was a marriage between a cochran and an Algonquin Indian. Thank you in advance.
