Well, darn. Can't see a connection between my Cochran line and yours.
Your mention of "Cecil Co., MD" is why I replied. I have seen one post where someone stated that the father of my 3 gt grandfather, Moses Cochran, had been from Cecil Co. I tried to make contact with that person, to get more info. but no luck. So I still don't have proof about that assertion.
Moses Cochran was b. (in PA?) in 1786 and by the early 1800s was living in Mercer Co. PA.

I realize I am replying to an old post, but I wonder if you are still on the list.
I am interested in the family of SIMEON COCHRAN...as to his daughter, Melvina who married Winfield Scott Richardson. A daughter of this marriage, Emma Richardson born May 3, 1874 married ELI STANBROUGH, which is my connection to the family. I am wondering if you have information regarding the children of Winfield Scott Richardson.
Thank you,
