Am looking for one WILLIAM COCHRAN who was b. around 1837. He immigrated from Scotland, died around 1891 in Midway, PA (I think!)
His last wife was ELLEN JANE BRADRICK. She was born roughly around the same time, but in the East Indies. I have no DOD for her.
I have been searching for their graves. I thought they were buried in Candor Cemetery, Bulger; but we have not located them.
If you have any information on the whereabout of William or Ellen, or their children, please email me!
Reach me at hismsgNOSPAM(a)cros.net

There is a website at http://www.clancochrane.org which is interesting to visit and explore. Within it is a "shop" where you can order a copy of the Cochran Chronicles by Ida Cochran Haughton (both the 1915 and 1925 printings). Hope this helps.

Hello, Carol,
I just read your post with great interest. I don't know a great deal about the Cochrans to whom I am related and am hoping you may have some info on them. I have a Mary Ann Cochran, b. 1712 in N. Ireland, d. 1786 in Abbeville Dist., SC, married James Pettigrew II. I believe her father may have been Capt. George Cochran, b. abt. 1680,d. abt 1725. His father may have been Robt. Cochran, b. abt 1650, d.abt. 1745.
Hoping to make a connection. Thanks.
