Hi Tricia:
This is Linda Ladd of Arizona! My roommate and I share this site...
The father and mother to my mom (Harriet Laken), and her sisters (Lucille Elizabeth and Mildred DeMaris), was Douglas Cochran and Mary (Macie) DeMaris MORRISON.
Douglas' parents were Dr. Homer Cochran and Harriet LAKEN.
Mary (Macie) DeMaris MORRISON was the daughter of Louis Morrison and Elizabeth TOWEL.
I have much more information...contact me at lindahla(a)hotmail.com.
Regards and love to you all...it was so good to see your name online...would love to hear from all of you.
Looking for any information on the following. I have nothing but this
information, but Eudora is the only Eudora Cochran I have ever found.
Thank you in advance!
Elizabeth Halsell married James COCHRAN 13 April 1837 Phillips Co., AR.
Their children:
Eudora COCHRAN
Andrew J. COCHRAN
William W. TATE married a Eudora COCHRAN. I have been unable to find out
anything on her. He then married May COCKES.
Also:
On the penision papers of L.D. COCHRAN of Longview, Gregg Co.,TX. there was a
P.D. COCKE that signed as a witness 24 June 1899.
Does anyone on this list know of either of these people?
Again Thank You!
Rebecca

Hi,
Looking for any information on Joseph B. Abbot who married Rachel Cochran in
Andover, MA on July 28, 1808, according to the Vital Records of Andover.
In a letter to my grandmother from my grandfather's niece in New York, she
states that according to a family Bible, there is an Abbot who married Rachel
Cochran in 1808. It lists Rachel's parents as James Cochran and Saloma
Knowlton. She couldn't read the first name of Rachel's husband - just Abbot.
On the LDS site and on Ancestry.com, I've found reference to Joseph B. Abbot
and Rachel Cochran.
Any information would be much appreciated. My Abbott (Abbot) ancestors are
proving to be very elusive. I have been trying to find the Abbot/Cochran
connection for three years, and now would also like to find the names of
their children, etc.
Thank you so much,
Georgiana

Charles COCKRUN Son S Male W 1 AR At Home TX MO
Census Place Cove Creek, Washington, Arkansas
Other information includes:
Buried in Caney Cemetery, Cherokee Co, Ok. Marker contains name B. Cockrum Co. D Bourlands Texas Cavalry CSA.
The direct line from him to myself includes the sone listed above as Volna, who my family knew as Volney or Vee who married Bettie Jane Perceful, their son, Jess, who is listed in most genealocal indexes as a female married to George Latty (who is actually my g grandmother Georgia Latty), their son William Wallace Cochran, Sr., and my mother Judith Ann Cochran Wagnon.
If you have any information regarding Briant, especially siblings, parents or other ancestors, I would love to hear from you. I am really looking to try to trace my line back to Scotland at least, and as of now all I know is that Briant's parents were born in Kentucky, and that information is part of the census record.
