He was married twice. I believe the first wife was Margery Grant b. 3/8/1809 d. 12/10/1852. They had two children Shepley b. 1830 and Rebecca Jane b. 11/9/1827. Rebecca married Anderson E. Grubb.
Shepley married and had a son named Ethridge Elwood Cochran b. 1867
Wife #2 for Robert was Margaret Elizabeth (Belt) Scoles

Shawn could you please send me a copy of Levi's Will. It would be great to see. I also have Pictures of Levi and his wife Elzabeth Safronia Ridenour. I believe I also have a civil war letter from a cochran. Would like to more of your family lines and where they went. I have a Bible given to John Franklin Cochran I believe by his mother. That is where I got the carlilse connection. My father also had a lot of it in paper form. Which is at times very confusing and slow going. I could send you the scanned images of the record pages from the Bible. It was originally purchased for $8.00 in 1883. It is about 4-5 inches thick. Like a very large study bible.
Please get in touch with me at kscochran88(a)att.net
Thanks Keith

I am looking for any information I can get on Joseph Cochran (e), born 9/11/1805, in PA or Ireland. His father was William Cochrane, he was supposed to have came from either Scotland or Ireland, depends on who I talk to in the family. My 94 yr old great Aunt Edna say Scotland, but is not sure. Joseph married Elizabeth Hetrick, born 8/7/1809. Their children are William (b.1829, d, 1870), Jeremiah (b. 1831, d. 1911), Mary Ann (b. 1833, d.?), Amanda (b. 1840, d. 1861), Caroline (b. 1842,d. 1849), Martha Matilda (b.1841 d. 1914), Peter F (b. 1847,d. 1811), and Joseph B. Mary Ann married a Moses Crum (m). Their children are Caroline, Lucretia, Lloyd, Matilda, Blair, Oscar, Susan, Henry, William and Charles.
Martha Matilda married a James McCoy. Their children are Peter, Dorothy, Edward, Martha, George, and Anna.
Joseph B. married Margaret Pierce. Their children are Mary, Edward, George, Emma, and Margaret, William, Ester, Joseph, Albert, and that I have not found their names.
My direct line is Peter F. Cochran.

I hope this isn't too awful long, but I really need help. There was a family history done by George Washington Cochran. He lived in Petersburg, Huntingdon Co., PA. But I have not found any of his descendants. I was told he had at least three daughters. Hopefully one of their descendants will find this and contact me.
I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Looking to research past my great-great-grandparents. They were Free Methodusts from Kentucky (we believe). Ella Jane Cochran was born on November 16, 1878 and died July 19, 1978. She married Nathan Perry (dates N/A, probably also from KY). Nathan had a brother named John, had Scottish-Irish descendants, twins ran in the family, and so did red hair.
Nathan & Ella had :
DOVER (b. aug 2, 1901;d. nov 5, 1979)
JOHN (b. may 1, 1922)
HARRY (b. Jan 24,?; still alive!)
MARY (b? died at age 15 or so)
LUCILLE (?)
JANET (?)
NATHAN (b. Jan 26, 1921; shot and killed by his own son)
CHRISTOPHER CARSON (b. april 17, 1899; d. April 18, 1937; married Dorothy Catherine Egar in 1919 who was b. March 27, 1901 and died February 5, 1989)
So if anyone has info past Ella Jane Cochran & Nathan Perry, it'd be of great help. Thanks all
