I'm still lokking for the parents of John Cochran b. ~1725 in Ireland.
He married Susannah Donnelly and they raised a family in Staunton, Va.
Some of their descendents still live in Staunton.
Any possible ties would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on a CHARLES COCHRAN that was living in St.
Petersburg, Fla during Dec 1926. He is the brother of my G-GF and is mentioned
in my G-GF's obit. I would like to locate anyone who is a decendant of
that side of the family as I have some information to share concerning
Charles' parents.

My grandfather Charles A. Cochran born Jan 11, 1874 had a brother named
William or Wills. Wills was supposed to be a couple of years older than
Charles. The 1880 Census has them living in a home for boys in Hartford,
CT. My GF, Charles, shows up in Iowa when he was 19. I am guessing that
he and his brother Wills were sent West on one of the ORPHAN TRAINS. I
don't know this for sure. I would like to locate anyone who might have
information of William or Wills. Family lore has it that he went to live
with a family that raised horses in Lexington, Neb.

We are looking for any connection to a John Cochran of Portland Oregon
or to Samuel David Cochran in Eastern Oregon. Both of these individuals
would be residing in Oregon during the 1920s to 1940s era. Samuel's name
may be a derivation of what we have been told as we have yet to find him
on a census of either Arkansas or Oregon.
We are still looking for any information on SW Cochran of Boone County
Arkansas who was born 1823 in Tennessee. His son was born in 1853 in
Tennessee and died in Olvey, Boone County, Arkansas. Other sons - John,
Joseph, and James. I did hear from one individual who said he had a picture
of five Cochran boys, but then he did not reply to my inquiry.
Our family would appreciate any information any Cochran genealogist might
have on this family. marji in se washington state
Also known is:
Pg 763, Obion Co., S. W. Cochran was 1st alderman of Troy, elected in 1852.
