DEBBIE NITCHE, Thank you for your prompt reply. I feel I have more of a
chance to find him between marriage to Mary PARSONS 1847 Navarro County, TX and
1870 Inyo County, CA census and to build his COBURN family unit. I will now order
the papers of War between the States union papers for the Nelson on their
list if Clayton Library, Houston, TX doesn't have it in their collection.
Do you have any idea if the Brazilla COBURN in MO 1880 census could be Luther
B?
Also Mary PARSONS had siblings born in OH, came to AR by 1840 census, also a
COBURN family. Nelson COBURN, also Eliza PARSONS, mother of his future wife
were in tax list of Navarro County, TX in 1845/6. Thanks again for your help. I
will post any info to COBURN list as soon as I verify information. Johnnye
(KILLOUGH) CARLSON

I must have missed the original message! I have no idea what the beginning
was. My grandmother was a Coburn but we can't seem to find out much about
birth certificate etc. My sister is the one that knows much about it and
she would be the one to contact to exchange info. witchtwin(a)yahoo.com

I am personally very glad that someone who may or not be a "cousin" of mine
is willing to try to inform us of these little known things about people who
may become very important to us. True or not, ethical or not, I for one am glad
