> Here is apparently another line of Rice's who came to SW Missouri. The
known connections of other Rices with Bracken Co., KY, Coles Co., IL, and
the western and southern counties of Missouri causes me to continue to
wonder if all these lines are not more closely related than we have thus far
been able to prove.

Jacob and Mary (Myers) Drake also moved from Coles Co., IL, to Bolivar, Polk
Co., MO, where I currently live. They are in the 1870 census of Benton

Does anyone know if there is a Coble DNA project going? I am descended from
Henry Coble (say 1800-1847) of Perry Co, TN and would like to verify the story
that he was half-brother to Adam Coble of Hickman Co, TN.

> Hi,
> My name is Danna Rice Fisher of Dyersburg, Tn. I have ancestors by the
names Rice and Fisher of Decatur Co. My Great Grandmother-father are buried
here in Dyersburg but were from Decatur Co., They are James Rice and Rebecca
Tennessee Fisher Rice. Rebecca had 5 brothers and 1 sister that I know of,
Rolley or Roy Marvin, Henry Brown, Willie Frances, Lucy Olive, Thomas
Griffin, and Elmer Ray Fisher. Rebecca's parents may have been a Thomas
Fisher and Mina or Elminia ?? Fisher and also a Mattie ??. Thomas Fisher
parents may have been a M.B. and Mary A. ? Fisher. Do you know if any of
these names relate to any in your gravesites? If yes, Could you give me
directions to the gravesites from entering Decatur Co. ? Thanks so much.
