In the 1820 census there are many COBLEs living in TN. Many (maybe all) came from NC. I just can't seem to pin down a daughter, Catherine born to a particular one of them, who married Lorenzo WOODS in Hendricks Co., IN. In the 1880 census there is a REITZEL and a COBLE living with the WOODS family. Who are Catherine's parents?
1820 Census'
Pulaski, Giles Co., TN
Adam Coble
Fayetteville, Lincoln, TN (Are these from ONE family?)
Adam Coble
Daniel Coble
David Coble
Frederick Coble
Henry Coble
Peter Coble
Hardin Co., TN
William Coble
/////////////////////
Corresponding to the above COBLEs in the 1820 census, there were WOODS shown in TN ...
Giles Co., TN
Daniel T. Woods
Isaac Woods
William Woods
William W. Woods
Fayetteville, Lincoln, TN
Matilda WOODS
No Reitzels shown living in TN in 1820 unless name misspelled.
And it looks like her brother John Coble age 20 b. N.C. is living with them

Crystal wrote me and I looked up Peter KENNEY in the census learning that his name was probably KENNEY instead of KINNEY which I previously had.
It looks like Dilly was MUCH younger than Peter. She was 28 and he was 60. The children were (I think)
Mary, 8
William, 5
Robert, 1 (next page)
All were born in NC

Hi
I am trying to research my ancestor Peter Kinney. He is the husband of Dela Coble. Attached is the death certificate for their son, William Henry Kinney. You both have Kinney in your databases, but do not have his first name as Peter. Do you recall where you received that information, or do you have anything additional? Thank you for your input. Check out my database below, and please let me know if you are researching any of the Kinney's. I have pictures that you may be interested in.
