Would like to find more information on the line of David Coble (1781-1814) (married Tamsy Layton), father of William Coble (married Milly Clapp), father of Pinkey Coble (married Milly Holt). They originated in Guilford County and moved into the Alamance County area. I have lots on the ancestry, but would like to know their vital statistics and children. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Dear Sir: Try researching your Coble family at Lamar Co, TX Check the cemetery site and the marriages.
Also, you might like to know that the Cobles came form Switzerland originally an dhappen to be indirectly related to George Washington.
Lots of folks don''t talk about their fmailies --due to feuds mostly. Especially in east and northeast TX. You may be related to the Cobles in Ft. Worth an dDallas too. Post on those sites ( Tarrant and Dallas Co.) ANd don't forget to use the census records.
Good luck.

> These records describe a series of transactions in 1823 that cleared the
title to many properties in the Three Forks area of Bedford County,
Tennessee. They contain descriptions of the property involved, listing the
name of the owner(s), the number of acres, the watercourse on whose drainage
the land was located, and the names of the owners of abutting property. This
information is very useful for understanding who the neighbors of a given
family were, and therefore in the search for hard to find information such
as the maiden names of wives.

Hello Everyone,
Rootsweb has set up message boards. Each message that is posted to the board
is then automatically sent to the corresponding mail list. Rootsweb calls it
"gatewaying."
Any message posted on the Coble message board is forwarded to the Coble list.
That person is most likely not a member of the Coble list. To reply to a
message you need to reply to the senders email address.
In the case of the message about Daniel Franklin Coble, the senders address
is: texasbuck(a)aol.com
If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
