I'm looking for my GGGreat Grand Father. Traditionally, our faimly uses the maternial name of the mother's/Grand mother's maiden name as the second name of a male. Cobham is one of these faimly names. According to faimly tradition his name was John and he was born in Tessesse. It is known that he moved to Arkansas, my GGreat Grand father, Virgil A. (Gus) Crabtree was born there in 1865. It is also rummered that GGGReat Grand Pa John was married twice and had a son named "Bainey" by his first wife. The time frame would be between the1800's and 1860's. Anyone have a Crabtree in their faimly tree during that era? Thanks.
