Hi all,
In the spirit of Halloween, October 31st, and All Souls Day, November 2nd,
for the next week, please feel free to post death/burial dates and locations for
any ancestor or family member whose birth name or married name was COBBS.
If you'd like to take it a step further, include any off-the-wall tales
related to your family research. Let us know if you've solved a mystery or broken
down a brick wall with the help of a tombstone epitaph. If you've recorded a
memorable one, include any poems or messages found on gravestones.
Please be sure to change the subject line to the name of your ancestor.
This topic will be open until November 2nd, so join in and have some fun!
Thanks,
Eireann Brooks

I recently bought some photos from an estate sale. Most of the photos were of St. Louis African-Americans.
One of these is a black man postcard photo. On the back reads:
Cousin Geo Cobbs 1920
Other surnames with these photos-
Rouch, Weston, Holliday, Williams, Bailey, Cobbs, McCally, Stuart, Thomas, Perkins, Dickson, and Chappler.
Contact me if you have a connection.
Sincerely,
Bill
