b. 3/31/1890 d. 5/26/1946 married to Cora Spencer.
They are buried in West View Cemetery, Walhalla, Oconee Co., SC according to the Cemetery Survey located on the Oconee County website.
According to the 1930 Census they were living in Seneca, Oconee County, SC
Roland Cobb age 40 b. SC

Roland/Rowland, Rolin seems to be a common name in the Cobb family.
If you know who Roland's parents were I would love to hear from you. Thank you.

Robert Thomas Cobb is the one that is a descendant of Howell Cobb of Hopkins County. My DNA matched his DNA
100%. Robert T. Cobb of Muhlenberg County was a 97.7%
match with me. I remember you said Robert T. of Muhlenberg County is a descendant of William Riley Cobb.

There is also a Robert Thomas Cobb that is also in the DNA Program. This seems to be creating some confusion. My Robert T. is from Muhlenberg Co., Kentucky. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Lynn- My DNA test matched Robert Thomas Cobb's test 100%. I assume that means that my gggrandfather, Greenberry Cobb, was Howell's son. The other descendants are John Wesley Cobb, Jesse Bradford Cobb (my grandfather). I was born in April, 1925 and my parents moved,
with my older brother and me, to Detroit when I was three weeks old. We lived there until 1930 when my father developed a terminal illness and we moved back to his parents farm near Hanson, Ky, where he passed away. I grew up in McLean Co., near Calhoun. Look for an email and I will give you some more information. Donald

Donald - It's been a while since you and I corresponded. What relative of Howell are you 100% related to? I have not been able to locate Robert T. Cobb for a while now. He and I are from the same branch of the Cobb family, going back through Thomas G. Cobb b. 1820. I am also interested in the Cobb family reunion. I'd love to see the part of Kentucky the family is from. Also, I am curious about Detroit and when your family lived there. My grandfather, Cordis Cobb (born in Slaughters, KY) lived for a while in Detroit in the 1920s to 30s.

Hello Donald and Denise,
I found your postings this evening. My husband, Charles Cobb, is a direct descendant of Pleasant Cobb (abt 1807 GA-aftr 1876, Muhlenberg Co, KY; through son Joseph R. Cobb (1832, Graves Co., KY - 1914, Muhlenberg Co., KY), son Green David Cobb (July 1863, Muhlendberg Co., KY - 13 Sept 1910, Mercer, Muhlenberg Co., KY); son Joseph Marion Cobb (b. 5 Nov 1904, Central City, Muhlenberg Co., KY- 15 Jan 1992, St. Petersberg, Pinellas Co., FL).
We have discussed Charlie participating in the Cobb DNA project. Can you point me to it, please?
And to Robert T. Cobb? Is he a descendant of Howell Cobb?
