Thanks Betty,
I finally was able to get some more info on him. My grandmother Ellen Margaret (Day -maiden) Huskey (firsts husband's name) and Elmer D. Cobb were married somewhere in MO maybe around St. Louis or Holden, MO on 2/25/45. He died sometime between 2/2545 and 6/1948. That is all that I have so far.

Thanks so much. That is very helpful. I do think it may be him. I also have to look up the names Alice and James Cobb to be sure. Thank you. Maybe I will find a piece of the puzzle that I am looking for.

He died a year after my older brother was born which must have been between 1965 and 1968. One more bit of information is that he was practically blind by the time he died. His eyes were bad. He also has nephews named Lenox and Richard who are in their fifties now.

You're right. I wasn't thinking very good. I know he was from Missouri. My grandmother was born in April 1901. I think they met in the St. Louis area. I have one picture that looks to be in the 1950's and he is balding.
I don't have much else.

Donna,
What is the name of Noah Cobb's parents? Was he related to Matthew Cobb whose wife was Polly North of Caswell County, NC? Matthew is my ggg grandpa and also Pike County is not very far from Columbia which is in Boone County where I live.
