William,
Please read the post again. Who are you Message Board 5-O?
Kirby
I think the record said that they were both born in 1890. Not married in
1890.
I thought this too but looked again!

Do you know where they got married?

I am looking for the parents of both; William Cobb born June 1825 married to Mary Priscilla Morgan born March 1826.They were in Fulton County Georgia in 1860.
Hi Betty,
I have some questions that youn's may have already addressed and I must have
missed but first of all, why does it have to be a male direct descendant?
Second, direct means it would have to be a male named Cobb? And how do you
go about participating?
Thanks,
Cindy
Subject: Re: Re: [COBB] Grant Co., Wisconsin
We need male Cobb descendants, direct descendants to participate in the Cobb
DNA project which will at least help us figure out which line of Cobbs these
folks descend from.

Probably Indiana. Have no solid evidence, bascially just a name and now the pension record.
I need information on Alexander Sanders/Saunders Cobb, b 1772 in South Carolina. He signed his "X" in a distinctive manner, with dots in each of the four sections.1792 Alexander and his brother Jerimiah mortgaged some proberty in Edgefield, SC to their step-father Simon Gentry. Who were his father and mother? Any help appreciated.
Have info going forward and will share; let me know.

I have court papers from Franklin Co TN, 1866, filed by a Gary Cobb "of the county of Grant and State of Wisconsin, and late the Wagon Master of the 43rd Regiment Wisconsin Volunteers Infantry...". He is not one of my Cobb line. If anyone is descended from this man I would be happy to send these papers to them. Contact me at vcgreene(a)att.net.

We believe Nancy was in Indiana. I think I found a pension record from 1915 when she applied for widows pension from her marrage to John O. Smith. If it is the same person her middle initial is J. This is sooo sweet of you, thank you.

I should be able to get it. It is really something I want to read too!
So I am no help. Just try again, sometime they work later. It's a mystey to
