I'm looking for the parents of John COBB, who married Margaret Wray/Rhea/or Ray around 1830 or 33. His mother was named Elizabeth b. about 1790. John COBB moved to Polk Co., ILL about 1857, he is in CAlloway Co., KY in the 1850 census. He indicated his wife was from TN, and he was born in GA. John COBB is my ggg grandfather.

Parker Cobb is my GGGGrandfather. He moved to Madison Co. KY with his father Samuel in abt 1796. He married Agnes Orchard in Madison Co. in 1819, and they had 9 children. Agnes died in Madison Co. in late 32 or early 33. Parker married Elizabeth Parker in 33 and they moved to Ninevah(sp)Co. IN. Parker and Elizabeth had 9 children and I believe they are bothe burried in Ninevah. If you want more information, send me an email and I will go thru my records.

This is not the same Mary Cobb as yours. She would of still be married to George Cobb in 1855. They did not have a dau. Mary either.
My best advice to you would be to check Dover, ME or Charleston, ME census there were a lot of Cobb families there in that time period.

I have hit a brick wall!!
Looking for any information on a Tom or Thomas Cobb. Possibly of around the Philadelphia area. He was supposed to have been born in Mason NJ in March of 1833. He married a Mary Connor on March 30, 1852 at Lumberton, Burlington Co., Medford twp., NJ. Looking for parents and or siblings of him. I am looking for any information on Osgood C. Cobb. He was born in 1870, died in 1935, he married Mabel Hall who was born in 1872 and died in 1955. They are buried in Eldora, Iowa, Hardin County.
They are my granfathers parents. My Grandpa name is Gerald Nelson Cobb, born February 10, 1901 in Iowa Falls, Iowa.
They also were parents to Dean Cobb, and Elinor Cobb.
